As a full blooded Italian girl, I am so embarrassed by Caroline. She is beyond rediculous. She is a disgusting representation of Italians. Family is everything too me and no one has a closer family than I do. She is a bully. Its her way and it doesn't matter what anyone else has to say.
I found watching Danielle's daughters' faces the most difficult to watch. Why ALL the younger children weren't removed, I don't understand but then the volume of Teresa and her 4-letter word tirade was probably heard by her own children if they were in the building.
Dina looked a bit shell-shocked throughout I thought which is somewhat out of character for her as far as what we've been led to believe about her and lastly, I did not necessarily believe that Caroline was telling the truth and not just trying to protect her little sister and put the focus on HERself instead of Dina.
Jacqueline seemed to really take on her sisters-in-law and despite the ending credits saying the birth of her 3rd child brought the family back together, it must have done some damage.
I will be awaiting the next season with a little eagerness, I must admit.
Never made that connection but maybe a little. She actually reminds me more of the CHARACTER Fran Drescher played on The Nanny. No disrespect! The character, although somewhat goofy, was a good person with a big heart and Teresa shows that too even if she does spoil her girls rotten.
What a show and a hoot. But that Danielle has no class--at the end of the day, she acted inappropriately as a guest to ruin everyone's evening. Talk about keeping her book secret--fageddabout it. Why didn't she go after her first husband with the same anger and full force if she was soooo wronged?
I don't know, a book's a book. Once it's published that's it. You can talk about it, just like we're using our "salon" (this web site) to talk about the Housewives' "book" (their show). It's in the public domain.
I agree, that she doesn't owe anyone at that table any explanations, and frankly, everything about the book itself bores me. But the Brownstone Sistas had it in for Danielle from before that book even showed up. She knew she was fighting a battle she couldn't win. And what's more, why would she want to win it? Danielle should've just moved.
I agree that the fact it happened 24 years ago should have been the deciding factor on whether or not it was relevant. But I still question how Danielle handled herself. Since the audience can't know what the ramifications are (were) when this all came out, would affect how important any of it was in the scheme of things.
We do need to keep in mind this is a TEEVEE show which is being put on to make money for everyone involved.
Yeah I thought using that party as her forum was in bad taste. But I see how she thought "well I may never have the cance to get them all in one room so I may as well make the most of it".
That was so much fun!! So far, they seemed the Realist of the Real Housewives.
Danielle sure moved fast!
I just feel bad because the kids probably were scared.
What a hoot!
It's funny, Stef and I are screenwriters and we definitely thought this was the most realistic (for these Housewives, at least) and yet the most contrived-seeming season of Housewives yet. The principles of screenwriting are all over this season. If you would've told me that Shona Rhimes (creator of Grey's Anatomy) was behind these exploits, I'd nod my head.
I don't know about "realest" but I relate to these ladies, myself being from Queens NY. I have watched all the HW shows and think I related best to these "characters".
Her boobies looked very good I thought. And knowing she just gave birth to her 4th child, guess we can assume Joe is happy.
AND what about that part at the start of the dinner when Teresa was rambling on with TOO MUCH INFORMAITION about what happened the afternoon she had them put in! OY!

I think the "reunion" show is on tonight.

Hello?
The book was no longer a secret. Didn't you hear the argument? They took it to the salon just to pi $$ her off.
That just came out last night. To add, Dina spent the last 3 episodes l y ing about it.
They did not have a right to discuss the book with people at the salon. None.
She doesn't owe anyone at that table a explanation for her behavior 24 years ago.
BTW, Carolyn's husband's best friend is Bernie Kerik. Yeah they should talk about character.
remember when Carolyn said she would investigate more about Danielle? Hmmm, I wonder who she called.

Relating to these ladies is a spine-tingling thought. I like to keep my tables on the upright, thank you.
Am I the only person who is wondering why Carolyn's husband is hanging out with a character like Bernie Kerik?
The guy who was too corrupt to work for GWB?
Yikes.
I told my husband it was him!! What a goof! Those sunglasses! He had to hog in on the show.
Now I know why I recognized him! Thank you.
.
You know what they say about birds of a feather...
Who is Bernie? I didn't make a connection.
Ok I have to say that Teresa's house is waaaaayyyy to over the top!
well, "a happy wife makes a happy life"

OMG, Houswives of New Jersey is my favorite guilty pleasure! I can't wait to see what happens at the dinner.
I hope I won't be the only one here tonight.
