Hillary's Hoodwink

digg Share this on Facebook Huffpost - stumble reddit del.ico.us RSS

I finally understand why Hillary Clinton is obsessed with health insurance mandates. As a blog over at the Baltimore Sun is reporting, the Clinton campaign failed to pay its health insurance premiums for months, racking up hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt to its providers.

The deadbeat campaign is nearly $9 million in debt. It's left a string of unpaid bills all over the country, from Ohio to Iowa. This has put a real-world hurt on the small businesses her campaign has hoodwinked.

When Clinton drops out, does she intend to pay off these campaign debts? Or should these business owners also pay a price for her continuing vanity campaign? Is this the kind of fiscal responsibility you'd get in a Hillary Clinton White House?

She'd pass a law to force you to buy health insurance. Yet she won't pay any of her own bills.

Maybe she'll just pay the bills in the states she's won.

Worse yet, maybe she'll force everyone into paying for health insurance and then she won't pay OUR BILL!!

Now we know why her Hillaryship is still seeking funding.

Just more "do as I say don't do as I do" from the Clinton campaign.

And hillary really wants us to believe she's for the little guy? Just an example of how the wealthy really treat the hard working americans. They talk in million dollar statements, they receive weathly wages and campaign contributions and in the end - they don't even pay the honest hard working people.

And this is a candidate for the presidency of he US. If they can't even manage the fiances of their campaign, if she can not pay her own bills, I certainly can't see how this could help the american people. I see diaster every which way you view it. Her priorities and judgement don't do her good in this scenario.

I pray that american's aren't sending their hard earned money to the clintons. They have time and time again proved they are not responsible with the money that you send.

Some of these bills appear to be months old...Why isn't the media (cable, network, print and radio) focusing on this matter? This doesn't bode well for entrusting her with our economic well-being nor her ability to effectively and ethically manage our Nation's fiscal program(s).
What about the small businesses and non-profits that are not being paid? The health care programs left unpaid is the ultimate irony! What happens to her employee's coverage - if they should need their benefits, will they be denied due to non-payment of premiums?
Even the staunchest Clinton supporter cannot rationalize this gross mismanagement as a 'good thing'!

The MSM is not ready for this campaign to end. That is why they are not reporting her overdue bills.

I am not at all sure why anyone wants HRC to handle our economy. Running her own campaign is much easier in comparison and she has failed. She hired people who were incompetent and doesn't seem aware of what is going on in her own offices.

Hillary paid off Vilsacks campaign debt to get his support, maybe she's hoping someone will need her support?

Fine as an Obama supporter if she drops out I will help raise money, not for her but for these people that she has stiffed. One guy in IA was on T.V. and was crying. These people could loose their businesses.

Also since she doesn't pay the insurance for her workers, they could get dropped when they need medical care, someone could die because of this!

Oh I forgot we should not speak ill of the Queen.

I think all of Obama's supporters should send in more donations to Obama, but earmark a certain amount to pay off all of these poor small businesses that got stiffed. And then the MSM should report this.

Wonder if there is any way we can let Obama's campaign finance manager know we would like to assist the small businesses in their plight.

Wouldn't this do wonders for Obama's campaign? What do you think??

It's really quite astonishing how little coverage her complete and total financial mismanagement is getting.

Mandated health insurance would be disastrous for those who don't respond well to western allopathic medicine (barring skeletal injuries) and who prefer to maintain their health through preventative alternative means and pay out of pocket for it.

On another site someone posted a thread entitled "the phone call at 3 am is a bill collector" LOL

As if. . .

we've not experienced ENOUGH fiscal irresponsibility, total unaccountability, and lack of transparency in recent years.

It is yet another glaring example of her outrageously shoddy leadership.

Over the past month or so, as an avid student of Tudor history, I've often been reminded of how Queen Elizabeth the first's leadership was mostly enhanced by her overwhelmingly astute discernment in choosing her advisors. Of course there were some exceptions.

Whereas Mary Queen of Scots was surrounded by power mongering, duplicitous, and manipulatively disingenuous advisors.

They cost Mary her head.

Just saying.

* trashed every single business he ever touched. The media ignored that too and look where it got us.

She's screwing the little guys and that's just plain not right nor should she be rewarded in any way shape or form. IMHO

None of us would get away with that crap for months.

Mismanagement is simply. . . mismanagement. But 6 mill for Penn's inept, mean spirited baloney?

Wish she would just concede, but that's unlikely. She is so abrasive and caustically stubborn.

"Change you

I like your use of the term vanity campaign, but two blogs down there's one I find even more appropriate. This is Hillary's "Princess Party".

The Clinton camp does seem to be reeling these days, but James Carville had a point yesterday I think worth mentioning. The GOP character assassination bureau is devouring every tidbit of information from the media, and blogs, and are at this moment devising their strategy to humiliate whichever Democrat wins the nomination.

It's really time to focus on John McCain, who, the longer he stays out of the nation's spotlight, benefits from the bickering between the two rival democrat factions. Because he's really roadkill in front of the cameras, a clumsy orator who they'll try to paint as a straightforward, plaintalking kind of guy.

Who wants to keep us in a war which never should've been waged. That's a bigger problem than Hillary's fabrications about dodging sniper fire on a tarmac in Bosnia. Or her failure to pay her insurance bills. And Carville's right, the GOP have demons of spin who will make Hillary's pathetic swipes at Obama's campaign look like, well an eight year old girl on a tarmac. Harmless by comparison.

Lets shift this dialogue to McCain for a change. The princess's party is nearly over.

SOMEBODY PLEASE SEND THIS INFORMATION TO JOHN AND ELIZABETH EDWARDS!!!!

Elizabeth Edwards (it is rumored) never had love for the Clintons. Besides anyone politician who speaks out is insulted by the Clinton bloggers (like Taylor Marsh). Remember what happened to John Edwards in NH when he didn't appear sympathetic enough toward Hillary when she had those crocodile tears?
