10 Images and Ideas Inspired by the Newark Peace Summit

Posted: 05/18/11 08:35 AM ET

The Newark Peace and Education Summit was a truly inspiring event. I am glad I took so many images and wrote down ideas while I was there. Looking at all of them this morning reminded me how captivating and consuming the weekend really was.

I decided a slideshow would be the best way to capture and share this powerful experience! Take a moment and vote for your favorite!

paraphrasing the blog about sleep " we dont get peace because we dont " get ' peace"

Daleri mentions this " peace that passes all understanding "

one of th emany things this means is that peace is not a rational state, a intellectual understanding; its the eating of the pudding.

what can one learn from these rational and sentient people at th epeace summit?

Deepak mentions meditation as a means to access that deep within where peace resides invincibly in the immortal transcendental field of being;

our task is not to create that which is uncreated [ allready and eternally selfexistent] but to manifest and actualize it [ SATCHITANANDA or kingdom of heaven} in mind body behaviour and habitat

No mention of or credit was given to the Maker of all things.

That is more like a declaration of war.

Who is the Maker? Not everyone believes in the same Maker. I am Buddhist so this article is awesome for me.....no war involved at all. PEACE

Not giving the credit to our Maker for everything that He has done is the same as a declaration of war against our Maker, which is not very intelligent.

The evidence that we have is that hydrogen is a major working part inside of us and it is hydrogen that all things are derived from. So the function of hydrogen inside of us is evidence that hydrogen was designed to work as it does which means that the entire universe was made by One Maker who is all knowing, all powerfule and able to stretch out time and space (He is eternal).

If that is your definition of a Maker, it is the same Maker as the God of Israel and the God that told Adam and Eve that a Savior (God) would be born of a woman.
