Sarah O'Brien
Sarah O'Brien is a senior undergraduate student at Vanderbilt University, pursuing a B.A. in Medicine, Health, and Society and Philosophy. She focuses her studies primarily on gender violence, sexual assault, and identity. Although she has been a long time advocate of women's rights, she did not begin to focus her research on sexual violence and its prevalence on college campuses nationwide until after she was raped by a friend her first year in college.
While at Vanderbilt Sarah has been involved in many aspects of campus life including athletics, Greek life, as well as being a campus leader for various organizations. She can be reached at:
