I am a first time entrepreneur who has never sold anything to anyone in her life (my background is accounting). How can I entice my first few clients to give my new company a shot at their business?

Bring the Passion!

Chances are, you are very passionate about your idea (if not something is very wrong) and your first few clients are really going to need to feel that passion from you. They need to know that you are going to go the extra mile to make this work for them, and that you are committed to them and to the company. Also, getting them excited about and congratulating them for being an early adopter helps.
