Scott Heiferman is Co-Founder and Chief Organizer of Meetup. Millions of people are part of self-organized Meetups, using the internet to get off the internet to form powerful community.

Jeremy Heimans is advising Meetup.com and is the co-founder of Purpose Campaigns -- a team that launches and builds movements. He also co-founded the global online political community Avaaz.org and Australia's GetUp.org, an independent political movement with more members than all of the country's political parties combined. Even though he's not American, he'll still be wearing the name tag because on Barack Obama's inauguration day, the whole world has their hopes up.
