Since joining the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) in 1999, Sean Lund has helped direct research and develop communications strategy for many of GLAAD's most successful campaigns, including GLAAD's Announcing Equality Project, which dramatically expanded the number of local and national newspapers that accept wedding announcements from gay and lesbian couples, GLAAD¹s campaign to unmask the anti-gay rhetoric of Dr. Laura Schlessinger, and the organization's daily outreach to national and local media outlets across the country. He is also editor of the GLAAD Media Reference Guide, now in its 7th edition.
