Sean Wolfington, chairman and CEO of The Wolfington Companies, is a financier and entrepreneur. The Wolfington Companies owns businesses in the technology, real estate and film industries. At the age of 34 Wolfington was a finalist in Ernst & Young’s “Entrepreneur of the Year Award” which was won by Wayne Huizenga, founder of Blockbuster and Autonation, the previous year. Wolfington’s real estate investment company specializes in high growth, high-end real estate development. Wolfington’s media company is The One Media and the film production company is Metanoia Films. Wolfington’s first film, “Bella”, won the largest festival in the world (Toronto International Film Festival) and was the #1 Top Rated Film in 2007 by the largest film review site in the world (www.RottenTomatoes.com and it was the #1 top rated film by the people on Yahoo, Fandango and the New York Times Readers poll during its theatrical release. Wolfington financed and produced “Bella” and produced “Swing State Ohio” “Self-Medicated”, the most award winning film of 2007 (38 awards). Before entering the film industry, Wolfington founded and sold two technology and internet marketing companies for almost $400 million dollars in enterprise value. Wolfingtons’ last company, BZProductions, was recognized as the “Innovative Company of the Year” by the leading publication for pioneering digital marketing in the automotive industry and generating billions of dollars of retail sales on the internet. Wolfington is the chairman of The Wolfington Charitable foundation which actively supports charities that serve the poor, support positive causes and defend the defenseless all around the world. In 2008, Wolfington was honored with the President’s Service Award for his work to serve others through his foundation and other charitable activities. He resides in Miami and Philadelphia with his wife Ana and three children.
