Roughly two weeks ago, David Letterman made a joke (as he is known to do) about Sarah Palin's daughter, saying:

"One awkward moment for Sarah Palin at the Yankee game: During the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez."

He was obviously referring to Bristol, the daughter who has in fact been knocked up, but she was not at the game, 14-year-old Willow was. This spiraled out of control and quickly became an issue of rape...
