Despite last week's defection by Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA.) and the <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/art-levine/after-specter-flip-flop-u_b_180281.html">conventional wisdom </a>of some Washington pundits pronouncing the bill essentially dead, the fight for the legislation by both Big Business interests and unions is very much alive.</p>
