	<abstract><![CDATA[<p>Hey, you might have read, last few days, about <a href=http://g.ho.st/>g.ho.st</a>, a well-regarded effort to be a Web-based desktop, serious technology with real funding. It's a joint effort by Israelis and Palestinians, featured at the <a href=http://d6.allthingsd.com/20080528/ghost/>D conference</a> as well as recent articles by <a href=http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/29/technology/29compute.html?_r=2&amp;partner=rssuserland&amp;emc=rss&amp;oref=slogin&amp;oref=slogin>NY Times</a> and <a href=http://news.wired.com/dynamic/stories/P/PALESTINIANS_HIGH_TECH_HOPES?SITE=WIRE&amp;SECTION=HOME&amp;TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&amp;CTIME=2008-05-29-01-54-34>AP</a>.</p>
