Joe Lieberman, who is now hinting that Barack Obama may be a Marxist, happily trumpeted a key endorsement from Obama in his 2006 race for the U.S. Senate - support that for quite awhile hurt the Illinois senator's standing with antiwar and liberal activists. Lieberman also thought enough of Obama at that point then to serve as his "mentor" in the U.S. Senate.
