<p>Peter Baker offers a revealing, and vaguely melancholy, account of the current, comparatively lower-energy state of Bill Clinton's post-presidency as a notoriously insatiable whirling-dervish struggles with the roles of former president and cabinet spouse -- all the while clearly yearning for an Obama administration role beyond the pro forma. </p>
