	<abstract><![CDATA[<p>Two days and about 20 news cycles ago, the editorial page of <em>The New York Times</em> issued a stern rebuke to Senator Hillary Clinton, charging her campaign with "demeaning the political process." The editorial, titled "<a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/23/opinion/23wed1.html?_r=1&amp;oref=slogin">The Low Road to Victory</a>," described the Pennsylvania race as "even meaner, more vacuous, more desperate, and more filled with pandering than the mean, vacuous, desperate, pander-filled contests that preceded it."</p>
