We know online video viewership is on the rise, but is Madison Avenue convinced?

A host of media giants showed off their best original video content to buyers last week at the NewFronts in New York City, each hoping they'll be able to pry money away from TV ad budgets.

There's encouraging data that suggests digital video ads actually have a greater impact than TV ads. But the NewFronts were about more than just traditional advertising: companies like AOL and Microsoft made their cases as brand partners, eager to help create and distribute branded content and other opportunities across their networks and on all platforms.
