America Has Been Hijacked

The four planes that were hijacked on 9/11 were the imprimaturs for the hijacking of America. Lots of us have tried to rationalize why this current group of evil people has taken over this great country of ours. And they have been successful at convincing many that they are God's messengers.

Throughout history there have been several examples of the exploitation of fear as a means to power the most notable being the Nazi takeover of Germany during the worldwide depression of the 1930s. These are the most vulnerable times for humans even in a so-called civilized country. Fortunately for America, we have a strong heritage of self-correcting events that seem to bring us out of crises. In the main, the end of tyranny comes with a combination of arrogance of those in power combined with grass roots movements.

In the case of the current Bush Administration, they are already on their way to self-destruction. It is my hope that he will take down the entire Republican Party. Mike Malloy has repeatedly said on his show that he hates all Republicans. I used to think that was a pretty strong generalization. I have changed my mind. There is absolutely no redeeming aspect of the Republican Party in its current iteration and those who belong to that party. It would be like saying there are some good Nazis or fascists.
