GoogleTV Details: I've got some deets on Google TV, Google's new project with Intel and Sony. Google TV allows you to watch and search both TV and web content and will be free after users initially purchase the service. It's going to be available this fall on Sony TVs exclusively at Best Buy.
Google iTunes Killer: Google hinted at a new music download site. As part of its Froyo announcement, the company talked about a market place where users could download apps and music. The service will wirelessly sync to Android devices. It could be Google's answer to iTunes.

GoogleTV is wholly dependent on a regulatory scheme, namely "net neutrality" that pushes the cost of bandwidth onto consumers of bandwidth to support googles "free" business model. It is just another scam being perpetrated by insiders and cronies who have influence in DC.
So I think the idea is to compete or replace those formats.
Still, how would I get Google's service other than through a cable?
