Following their fantastic performance at YouTube Space LA for our #AskArtist series, rock band Neon Trees sat down for an interview with Shira Lazar and took some great questions from the audience on social media.
Among other topics, singer Tyler Glenn had some valuable advice for people who feel they can't be themselves and are scared to come out.
"I've been in really low spots in my life, and I think my advice would be to surround yourself with people that get you and understand you," he said.
"I'm still searching for my people sometimes, but I just think be honest with yourself, because I wasted a lot of time not being honest."
The band also talked about "songs they can't listen to," what foreign languages they'd like to speak, how they pick outfits for performances and their favorite things to do when they have time off tour.
