Shoaib Harris is an Honour student at Columbia University in New York. He is also freelancer concerned with Afghanistan's development, culture and linguistics.

Harris worked in different relief and media organizations in Afghanistan and Pakistan. He last worked as the Regional Manager of ACBAR, a membership coordinating agency in Afghanistan, as the country was preparing for the historic presidential elections.

While a full time student (John Cabot University, Rome, Italy) and (Columbia University, New York since 2005), Harris continued to do different culture, development and news-related jobs ranging from coverage of Afghanistan's 2004 Presidential Election for ANSA (Italian News Agency) to assisting award-winning Swiss filmmaker, Christian Frei on the ground in Bamiyan, Afghanistan.
