“If you recall, Obama started out by including NO liberals or progressives in his administration. No seat at the table for the left.

He then began (the stimulus bill) by conceding ground on the left. No negotiation with the right, with Republicans, no concessions on their part, just SNIP SNIP, populist legislation to get the American people jobs and save their homes, a meaningful economic recovery, gone. The bill passed with NO REPUBLICAN SUPPORT. A watered down bill, inadequate to get us an economic recovery, with jobs to move the engine of business, is now what the Obama administration now admits was a mistake.

That's been the story for every day of the last six months, some new flip-flop on a campaign promise.

Obama took single payer universal health care off the table before negotiations even began. Single payer is the least expensive and only solution to our health care problems. And tonight, he equivocated on a public option.

Disappointed with Obama and Democrats doesn't begin to cover it anymore.”

The only thing he came home with was the tale that the europeans liked him but if you read Sarkozy's subsequent, he was most disdainful of obama. he went there with substantative goals but came home empty handed.”
