John McCain Could Lose Senate Primary To Tea Party Supporter

“You haven't really watched his career, have you? I didn't either, and was an early McCain supporter in 2000. Then I started paying attention and saw that maverick stuff was bs. He's a fooler. Those AZ Rs are reactionaries, they don't do maverick. To get elected from there you need to be on the crazy fringe. For a working person to vote for John is foolish. When you're in AZ drive by the McCain Scottsdale digs and see how the tiny, thin upper crust live there, then try to imagine those people relating to someone who works.”
SMAckley replied on Nov 22, 2009 at 17:59:58

“We all should care. Give her credit for what she did, she was awesome, but give the man who got it done the credit he deserves. There's no need to lie or misrepresent. They were both heroes but she got credit for what he did. Does it matter? If it didn't matter the Army would have corrected the stories the same day.”

How many people get cancer in one year, millions? Is that Dr. Money or Dr. Muney? Get real, or was that humor?”

May I suggest you find out how the other half really lives? I suggest you volunteer to tutor at a school in a low income neighborhood where the unemployment rate is 20-30% and watch those families struggle. Two or three part-time minimum wage jobs just won't do it. The American dream doesn't exist for everybody. Some need a little boost. Being born on third base, as someone once suggested, doesn't mean you've hit a triple.”

Honor those men and women. Recall that back in the Bush days military caskets were once hidden and handled as freight on the way home. Bad thing.”

“And from where I'm sitting, *everyone* is saying "I got mine, how you doin', not that I care" when they only discuss insurance related issues, and don't even aknowledge that there *ARE* issues in the Health Care system, beyond insurance
In other words, in 25, or 50 years when more people have insurance, everyone will be saying "I got mine, how you doin', not that I care" to those people who are suffering and dying from poor or improper medical care, because they don't believe that poor or improper medical care happens, when their biggest concern is a broken foot, or a sprained ankle, or getting fat, meanwhile the guy in the next ER exam room is being given the "there's nothing more we can do for you but make you comfortable (until you die)" conversation”

Their toadies in legislatures have been bought to write laws best for insurers. Pound those guys and turn them out if they don't change that. Meantime, the public option is good and single payer even better.”
