“Google doesn't have control of these images. They're just pointing to them on someone else's web site. Theoretically Google could exclude them from their search results but I imagine those who create these images would just re-post them at different sites and stay ahead of Google's effort to eliminate them.”

“There are HUNDREDS of people competing for ONE job. For you to pretend that people like to collect unemployment is insulting to the millions of people that are out of work looking for jobs. Obviously these people worked at one time and paid into the system because you can't collect unemployment if you never had a job. People are competing with each other for those low wage jobs so the problem is not as simple as you try to portray. Trying to support a family on UI is almost impossible and your benefits eventually run out so there is a sense of urgency for people on UI to try to find a job.”

“Excellent post. And the longer I looked at the woman's face the more I found myself accepting it & getting used to it. It's because we as a society try to keep disfigured people hidden that we are so shocked & horrified by their appearance. And even when they want to show their face we say they are being exploited which serves as yet another way to keep them hidden.
