“Think4believing didn't seem to talking about a program for gays specifically.  It sounded more like how dare these teenagers/twenty-sometings complain about college affordability?”

“The fact that you think people can afford college on their own dime just by working shows how out of touch you are with current tuition rates. Tell me, when you were just out of high school, were you making 50K a year?”

privjetcomrade on Aug 23, 2013 at 21:19:59

“I side with thinkb4believing. It is absolutely ridiculous to ask this kind of question of the government! It would be one thing to create programs to help all students, but to single out a group as requiring a special program is exactly the wrong kind of thinking. BTW my parents did not support me. I was booted from their house at 18 but I still managed to go to school, graduate, and get a good job all on my own hard work and effort. I also would like to point out that I received no grants or money and paid off all of my loans within 4 years of graduating.”

semperfitexan on Aug 23, 2013 at 21:11:51

“What do kids do whose parents don't have the money to send them to school . I got my degree through the GI Bill .”

“Out of touch? I have 3 children,  one just graduated from the University of Mich , and will start grad school later this year. The 2nd is a junior at a state university. They paid their own way by working , saving, grants, scholarships and small student loans sharing books, apartments and expenses with other students.. We are very proud of them.”

camnhuff on Aug 23, 2013 at 23:07:48

“Why would he stay quiet when he intentionally sought and stole documents? It's not as if he stumbled upon information. He began stealing the documents via Dell in 2012. He met with gg in Feb. 2013, then planned to work for Booz Allen in March of 2013, so that he could steal more classified docs and give them to wikileaks, who would 'protect' him. It's not like he happened upon the info., he didn't "discover" anything. He was purposeful in his theft. He had planned to give it to wiki.”

They don't even have enough common sense to realize they voted for a guy that has done nothing but grossly expand every major Bush agenda to the point where even the most die-hard Republican no longer recognizes those policies anymore.

Really shows you who the real Teabaggers are in America.”

“Like every other President has?  Like George W. Bush did?  Presidents don't generally get impeached for perjury because there are pressing national security reasons for them to not tell the truth.  I'm guessing you're fixated on Benghazi.  That's really pretty sad.  I doubt anyone besides God could have figured out what was going on in real time while that situation was evolving.  While we're discussing that, how many times did the same exact thing happen during the Bush Administration?”
