“I think "play an instrument" can be expanded to "learn a 'hobby skill'" (yeah, a better phrase is warranted!). It can be music, art, dancing, martial arts, etc. It's not just the activity itself, it's taking pride in a skill that's not tethered to your job.
But yeah, since 5 and 7 are different, and if you have time, perhaps one should be more artistic and otherwise less sporty, and 7 should be devoted to sporty disciplines.
