“I am not a fan of Powell. Granted his endorsement looks good to defeat the "lack of experience with foreign policy" argument.

However, as Secretary of State, Powell's foreign policy consisted of the WMD scare.

Further, Powell timed his endorsement just exactly at the time that Oliver Stones film came out, which tries to make a not guilty plea for Powell's endorsement of the WMD hoax.

So, we see that Powell's endorsment is nothing mor than a political manuvure for himself.

but perfectly normal in a capitalistic system that promotes raping capitalism.

For example, growing chickens in the US, sending to China to be cut, then sent back to be sold.
All because the small percentage extra that the corporation will make.
The margin of cost between Transportation (including petroleum) and the difference in labor costs, makes this a "perfectly legitimate" way of doing business.

Ethically, or logically ..... Maybe not

there is no regulation or deregulation, bailouts or stimulii that will ever cure it, because our generation and future generations are programed and evolved to get the most bang for our buck without regard to fundemental ethics, reason or logic.
