“I agree. This article didn't give much detail to the situation. And it is procedure to lay a suspect/criminal/lawbreaker down on their stomachs. How could the officers have known this would happen? Its very unfortunate indeed. Condolences to the family. But it is an officers job to protect the public. The lack of appreciation for them is disturbing.”
“And he lied! People, its known now what happened in Libya. Its not what republicans or media is saying. This is known. ,They know its known. Why dont you guys know this?”

“It's going to get really ugly. The mainstream media and lackey journalist publications like Huff Po are turning a blind eye.
I said it four years ago when the man of mystery was elected.....the liberal media was so enamored with electing the first Black (biracial, actually) President, they were going to revise history as it happened to ensure that this unqualified man doesn't go down in history as an abject failure.
President Obama is an extremely intelligent man. However, he abhors the Democratic process and feels he should be Emperor.
As far as the race thing is concerned, this same media would never support Condoleeza Rice, a woman who rose up out of Jim Crow's Birmingham, Alabama
to become one of the most accomplished women, black, white, green, or purple in the country.
I would have voted for Condoleeza before anyone. She is the ideal role model for ANY race, any gender. AMAZING woman!”
“Arent Liberals outraged by the murders in Bengazi? You complain and complain about how the Republicans are acting, you hate them so much, but guess what? Terrorists don't discriminate in America. They want us all dead.”

“George Bush knew this. He told us as much when we embarked on the war in terror. He said, and I'm paraphrasing "This war is going to be a difficult one. It's going to be fought on many fronts all over the world. It won't be an easy one and because the enemy is willing to fly planes into buildings."
"We cannot win this war unless we are as steadfast in our beliefs as they are in theirs. This war may drag out for a long, long time. There's a good chance your children's children will still be fighting this war. We have to stay committed and not lose sight of out goal, which is to prevent another 9/11 attack on our soil."
Well, the politically illiterate electorate listened to the dissension coming from the left, which was all of a sudden opposed to a war THEY agreed to. They didn't do this for any noble cause. They did this solely to divide the nation and knock Bush out of that 88% approval rating.
The Democrats saw the Republicans preparing to ride a wave of nationalism to huge majorities in both houses and the did what they had to do to stop that freight train.
They divided the nation ON PURPOSE. It was pathetic and despicable. Obama stopped the chase and is now negotiating secret weapons deals with the very group responsible for the 9/11 attacks.
All our soldiers died in vain because of this current president. An abject failure.”
“Thank you. Really. You are the first "Left" that has made sense to me. I appreciate your views, and respect them as well. And you didn't yell at me just for being"right". I will still vote for Romney, but at least I won't doubt the other side nd question the "47% sanity. TY”

“You're welcome, but I would caution care. I do not see myself as 'left', nor would I think to categorize you as 'right', no pun intended, seriously. I try to critically analyze all information regardless of its source, I have served in local government as a candidate without party affiliation, and I have voted for Republicans, though not nearly as often as Democrats. Labels, stereotypes, and strict categorization of beliefs, ideas and opinions is suspect.
No hurry, but I would honestly like to know why you are going to vote for Romney. I don't ask for the purpose of argument, and I understand that I am asking you for information that by all rights is private. I am curious as to why you feel that Romney would best represent your interests. I mean 'interests' as in the interest of a citizen in a republic. We use a democratic process to elect a delegate who represents our interests in the republic. I don't mean to be so pedantic, but most U.S. citizens don't understand that we live in a republic. "This is a Democracy!" No, it is a democratic republic in which we elect officials to represent our interests.”
“Read an article dated Sept. 18-19th. Interesting. Scary as all hell that we came so close to total collapse. Do you not agree that conspiracy theories are being said by both sides? You are clearly well informed, and I would like to hear your view on Muslims, 2016, and how Obamas admin. handled the last attacks.”

“I think the thing to remember is that the United States is a country of immigrants founded on the principle of religious freedom. Muslims practice Islam. It is not a religion that I understand well despite having a long time friend who practices. Many horrible acts have been committed in the name of many different religions; there is no major religion that is unscathed. However, what one man does in the name of his religion does not define that religion.
I don't believe that Barack Obama practices Islam or has a Muslim agenda. There is no body of evidence to support this theory, and his record runs counter to such a theory. I have a Roman Catholic name, but I am not a Roman Catholic.
Fortunately, Obama is not a might makes right President. He is pensive, and he plays the long game. The U.S. is currently applying pressure on the Syrian government, but this is a very delicate situation. In fact, I believe this effected the debate, as Syria shelled Turkey on that day, and Obama probably spent most of that day on foreign relations as opposed to debate prep. I am a documentary addict, but I don't consider 2016 to be a documentary. I recommend Frontline. Conspiracy theories are usually bogus.”
“Do you mean for a 2008 article, or in general? You mentioned Harper's in one of your comments, that's a good magazine. Have you read The Sun? The New York Times is tough to beat for content, as is the Washington Post. The trick is to read from many different sources, and trust none of them, unless you can confirm the info elsewhere.”
