“I find it obnoxious that these past-their-prime geysers are trying to set an agenda. The reality is that most adults...a­re HUNGRY to PARENT. They are typically VERY hungry for one and often still hungry for two and three. And then they live their nice little middle class lives, arranging Sunday dinners and inviting family members with babies and grandbabies, etc. to mark the parade of life (or in their words pro-life) and for some reason known only to them: they think that's gonna buy them a ticket to heaven.

Abortion is typically the scurge of women who are NOT YET ready ... have not found any satisfactory scenario in which to bring forth new life to the planet. Even Palin, yesterday, expressed how she - Queen of the PRO-LIFE movement stopped for a moment to think about the consequences of her unwanted pregnancy and how it might be averted. (I can't help but wonder how a woman who was Governor was NOT on birth-control??!! .The truth is: she had EVERYTHING TO LOSE in aborting her baby - hard to have a politically motivated pro-life agenda while getting an abortion.. Also, she had the MEANS to sustain and afford the pregnancy and subsequent delivery and life expense of new life.and extended family to support an unexpected pregnancy. . Palin not only had a husband's income, but education. Not everybody is SO middle class ready and able (as well as age related mature) to proceed to mothering.”

So she's got what she wanted and she can spin it into a job as a MRS America or a news anchor - but the country needs a lot LESS of Sarah Palin, not more. She shames Women. It took us so many years and fights to get us where we've gotten to. The Republican Party put up their little Puppet-Girl as Pseudo-Woman, while they mocked the rest of us - the real women of this country. And they mock Palin, as well. But she deserves it - we don't. Tell this gal to put on a pantsuit and stop showing her legs in high heels. This ain't a beauty pageant - it's hardball. You're setting us back to the 1950s. Get a life on TV Sarah. The rewards are exactly what you need”

“There's been talk out here that the pushback again Obama is NOT racist but is attributable to other things. I think anybody can see that the racist barbs are underlying so much of it. There's also a suggestion out here that you just FIX RACISM. Racism is a fairly easy vice to recognize, when it's aimed to separate people of color (the whole spectrum). But I think that EVEN if that much is fixed (and the laws HAVE fixed what is most agregious about the policies of America's racist past) then fixing the people and uppity attitudes of this country is a whole lot harder.

There's a pretense about the goodness of America..t­he land of the free and the home of the brave. But, It's pretty obvious that many of our countrymen are pea-brained and mini-minded. It's not only our noble ideals which flow through our veins, there's a whole lot of sludge in our 'these colors don't run' blood, too. If there wasn't a racial underdog - there'd be a middle-eastern underdog or some 'other' underdog. It's OUR people what needs fixing. And there's no doubt this JOP should be reprimanded and out of the job. He knows no JUSTICE and is merely your run of the mill MONGER.”

“The thing about Letterman which bothers me is not that he had an affair (who cares??).. He obviously had a 'special' arrangement with his now-wife throughout these many years. But with whom he had the affair(s) - that's what bothers me. He has access to the most gorgeous starlets decked out to the hilt (in their glitzy dresses and high heels) every night of the week. What we know is that the whole time, he was acting inappropriately towards her (as boss to employee) That, to me, is unconscionable.

Regarding America's OTHER half: It's likely that most, if not all, of the right wing opposition is propelled by profits of a corporate America that is FINALLY being challenged and feels threatened.
