“A friend said "Payroll taxes are paid with the fruits of our labor no matter who writes the check. And corporations have forced legions of Americans into self-employment / working as independent contractors in which case you pay both the employer's and employee's portion of payroll tax." So, no need to recant your first conclusion.”
“There is no constitutional right to hunt. The supreme court interpreted the 2nd Amendment to mean that an individual citizen also has a right to own a weapon for (self) defense, not just as part of the militia that defends the community, state and country, AND that governments do have a right to regulate that ownership.”
“I found the article. Thank you, Artemis. I suppose if I was a heterosexual and I read that, not knowing it was satire, I might be freaked out. And of course, if you're a frightened straight person, what better way to stir up the low information straight folks than by printing this, sans the first line. Thanks again, O Goddess of the hunt!”
“The entire concept of the "homosexual agenda" is from a satirical article the push as fact, an article that conservatives read into the congressional record w/o the first paragraph that makes it clear it is satire and that incompetent conservative supreme court justices have cited in opinions! Any lie will do to sustain conservatives' propagandistic view.”

“Can you provide the title of the satirical article and where it can be found? I would like to read it. Thanks.”
“May be time to renew the Posse Comitatus Act, ban use of the US military against US citizens, ban combat operations against civilians on US soil, and demilitarize police, FBI, CIA and homeland security. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Posse_Comitatus_Act
“The highest net cost estimate of covering contraceptives is ZERO, so they won't be paying for squat. WOMEN pay health insurance premiums and have a right to expect medically appropriate care in return. My freedom OF religion means freedom FROM your religion. Trust women! Craft store owners make lousy doctors.”
“You lie. No one who objects to contraceptives is being forced to take them.
There is NO theological basis for the idea that providing commercial health insurance coverage in a secular state to believers and non-believers alike is a sin, regardless of what it covers.
Your religious freedom and your sin ends at the confines of your body. You and the Greens have boundary issues.
Jesus' command to "render unto Caesar" also SUPPORTS separation of church and state.
Whenever "religion" meddles in women's health care, born living breathing human women die!
Trust women! Craft store owners make lousy doctors! ”

“Be ready for the employment numbers to go up. I applaud these owners because they are left with few honorable options. They could have cut everyone's hours to the point they don't have to provide insurance at all. I'd love to hear your support for how "religion" meddling in women's health care, women die. I know numerous people -- of various religions -- who risk their lives working all over this globe as medical missionaries providing medical care to as many as they can, regardless of race, gender, or creed. Your generalization is idiotic.
“They are not being forced to go against their own beliefs.
They are forcing employees to follow their beliefs which is something else entirely.”

“No, they are telling their employees that they will not be paying for something they don't believe in...They aren't firing employees who use the pills....ARE THEY?....Simply put, your employer doesn't owe you free b.c. pills....if you want them then you buy them.....it's quite simple really......even a liberal can understand it, RIGHT?”

“The morning after pill is available for free at your local health department. Paying a 300% markup on it is not a decision based on some deeply held belief.”
