It's variable but it's often very funny. It's not the sort of television that you should look to for examples of how to live your life, but it doesn't claim to be. And it has some very good comic actors - Jon Cryer, Holland Taylor and Conchata Ferrell. I'll miss them if the show gets cancelled.

“Actually, they have beaten CNN several times this year. CNN have placed 3rd several times due to their lazy journalism. Yeah, CNN stays on the air longer, and reports beaking news, but they've done so poorly. They have lazy journalist who spends more time reading our comments on Twitter than to report about news, and the news they report tend to be tabloid stuff. CNN used to be great when they actually tried to be a cable news network.
