“"At trial, under a heated cross examination by Negrete, Barrett conceded that he was not a medical board certified psychiatrist because he had failed the exam." "The most damning testimony before the jury...was that Barrett had filed similar defamation lawsuits against almost 40 people across the country within the past few years and had not won one single one at trial." "During the course of his examination, Barrett also had to concede his ties to the AMA, FTC and FDA."

When that approach was taken during the omnibus trial, it turned out that the children allegedly damaged by vaccines were showing signs of delay before the alleged regression.”

I don't expect you to understand the point - you presume (I can't think why) that the Polings are hiding something, but if they are not they have no way of proving it to you. Moreover, the idea that they privy to the inner workings of the other side is weird beyond words.
So you are just indulging in innuendo.”

“If survivor accounts was all that existed, you might have a point.”
ChildHealthSafety replied on Dec 07, 2009 at 20:30:10
“Good some progress. Parents do not just have "survivor accounts". They have the chidren and medical records and photographs and videos and evidence of others who saw the child before and after.
Children do not spontaneously regress, lose speach, mental capacity and start tiptoe walking and such-like.
But that is the kind of nonsense parents are being told by educated medical professionals who should know a lot better.
When Kanner discovered autism in the 1940's it was rare. Since the vaccine programmes it is not and neither are a large number of other immune system conditions.”

VAERS data have limitations, like most data. It depends on how they are being used. For instance, it is misleading to take individual VAERS reports at face value claiming, for instance, that Gardasil® has killed dozens of teenage girls.”

"50 million Americans should not get the vaccine "

"ADVERSE EFFECTS — This live vaccine has the potential to cause many adverse effects (SE Frey et al, N Engl J Med 2002; 346:1275; KA Sepkowitz, N Engl J Med 2003; 348:5). Historically, about one death occurred per million primary vaccinations. Local reactions include satellite lesions, focal inflammation and lymphadenopathy. Brief systemic reactions typical of a viral illness (fever, muscle aches, headache, nausea and fatigue) are common after primary vaccination. Accidental inoculation of the vaccine virus into other skin sites or into the eyes, where it may cause sight-threatening keratitis, can occur. Generalized vaccinia, erythema multiforme, post-vaccinial encephalitis (more common in infants) and eczema vaccinatum (occurring in areas of healed as well as active eczema/atopic dermatitis) can also occur (RJ Engler et al, J Allergy Clin Immunol 2002; 110:357). Among contacts of vaccinees, complications are most frequently the result of accidental inoculation. The risk of eczema vaccinatum may be greater than in the past because eczema/atopic dermatitis is more common, occurring in up to 10%-20% of the population. Progressive vaccinia (vaccinia necrosum), .... might also be more common now because of HIV infection and widespread use of immunosuppressive drugs. Rare cases of fetal vaccinia have been reported after vaccination during pregnancy. "

“I know. I suggested a woman get her 2 young kids vaccinated for H1N1 since she works in a hospital and takes them there often. Since the children are frequently ill and in my home, I thought this would be a safety issue for all of us. She says vaccines can cause autism, so she doesn't vaccinate. Both her kids got H1N1, ran fevers of 105 (one is only 6 months old) and her son shows hallmark symptoms of autism even though he never got a vaccine (he's showed symptoms since he was 6 months old), so obviously the vaccines weren't the cause.”
