In America, there are three unalienable Rights guaranteed by the Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776. Here it is:

" We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

I believe health care has something to do with Life. I'm actually borderline prolife but have noticed how two-faced the self-righteous are about the fetus: "God help it after it's born!"”

Most of these poor folks have their "rights" and "privileges" mixed up. A flat-screen TV is a privilege - but living to see another day (if possible) is a right, IMHO.”

“I think, when Michale says, "embezzling campaign funds," she means that most folks who donated to Edwards' campaign, hadn't bargained for his campaign finance manager to be paying Edwards' mistress $15,000.00 a month for, at best doing nothing, and at worst accepting it as permanent hush money. It's not completely off the mark to characterize those as being misappropriated, whether Edwards supported the payments or not. The folks donating to Edwards' campaign, I'm sure, would rather their donated money go towards, how shall I put it, dare I say here, a more worthwhile cause?

This whole mess has little to do with the actual "cheating" on his wife. It speaks to Edwards complete lack of honesty with his supporters, and others, throughout his seeking the nomination. Of course this would get out. His behavior is actually rather like that of a sociopath. No?
