“Yes, I just joined. As I've said, I'm a follower of Chris and his information has been a godsend to me. So when I saw his article and the comments, I had to respond. If you have any criticism of what I wrote let me know. Chris doesn't really promote a certain diet, he provides information about food and diet and you decide. There is no one diet for everyone.”

“Anyone who is doubting Chris' expertise or motivation doesn't know a lot about him. I have 'followed' his website and articles for months now. There is a veritable gold mine of dietary information there that anyone has access to, for free. He's not in anyone's pocket or a spokesperson for anyone.
I was a lifetime sufferer of IBS and possibly Crohn's Disease. I also had problems with GERD. Modern Medicine cannot really explain or 'fix; these issues, because it's not a medical problem. It's a dietary problem. Our modern 'SAD' (Standard American Diet) is the cause. High Fructose Corn Syrup, over abundance of grains, GMO vegetables, Sugar in everything...(THAT is what is not natural. Humans eating meat IS natural as we have done so for millions of years. We have only been eating grains for about 10,000 years. Food for thought.) By following Chris and his advice on diet, I consider myself cured of all of those ailments. No drugs. I feel better than I have in my adult life. And it was all free advice.
If you are a vegetarian and it works for you, GREAT! As long as you aren't loading up on junk and are eating and patronizing places that serve good whole food. Some of us do better on a high protein no grain diet. Vegetarians and Paleo should not be enemies. We should be banding together to fight the Big Agra/Pharma stronghold on the American Diet and Healthcare.”

“as time goes by, we find new archeological evidence pushing back the estimated date at which humans started eating grains. Currently, we can't prove they did eat grains millions of years ago- but the evidence may eventually come to light. I really have a hard time thinking our resourceful ancestors did not avail themselves of whatever source of calories were available, and in some areas and climates where early human life did exist, that would include wild grasses in abundance- aka grains.”
