“Exactly; in 2001 the Taliban had almost completely eradicated the opium crop and wall street had lost a huge amount of low interest money to launder into the overall system. It IS a drug war...just not the kind you might think. Michael Ruppert's book Crossing The Rubicon is an excellent read if you want to understand why we are in Afghanistan.”

“Thank you, I appreciate your words of encouragement. I've taken it three times. Good news, i get better each time. Bad news, I cannot afford the cost of the bar review course which can range from $1200 to upwards of $4000. I had hoped to have a job so I could save to pay for the course. Now, my family and I are just trying to make ends meet and make sure we're able to pay the mortgage.

“The factories in my hometown of Lima Ohio started leaving and/or shutting down as early as 1975. When I graduated HS in 73 most of my friends had jobs that paid between 9 and 12 dollars an hour (big money in 73) and a lot went to work in the same factories as their dads and uncles etc. We had a Ford plant, GM, Chrysler, Fruehauf Axle plant, a GE Turbine plant, a Clarke equipment forklift plant. Huffy had a bicycle plant nearby and more. Some of the machinist jobs were skilled labor and required more than assembly line work. Most familys had a dad that worked and a mom that raised kids and kept the home running and life was pretty good. All gone now and it started in 75 or so for a lot of the midwest. I guess my rambling point is that other than the statistics there is nothing new about this article for millions of people.”
