“Those on the far-left always fail to define what an assault rifle is considered under the law. Likewise, the term assault weapons is used as a blanket term by the extreme anti-gun crowd for propaganda purposes.

The AWB is almost entirely cosmetic and save for the difference in rounds per magazine, is a meaningless ban. A ban on assault weapons does not equal a ban on automatic weapons. They are not the same thing.

Banning a semi-automatic rifle because it has some of the features Jesh66 listed above is a meaningless venture and does nothing to stop gun violence. Said semi-automatic rifle still fires semi-automatically despite the lack of a folding stock, a muzzle break, or a bayonet lug.

Please stop mindlessly throwing around the terms assault rifles and assault weapons as if they actually meant something.

She knows full damn well why there is an impatience to get the general election going, she knows full well why McCain must be hit hard politically, and soon.

Hillary had more supporters before she started changing the metrics when she started to lose.
Hillary had more supporters before she had her husband/surrogate disparage Obama's win in South Carolina by comparing it to Jesse Jackson's win.
Hillary had more supporters before she let out the proverbial Pavlovian dog call to racists by saying that she can win white, working class voters and Obama cannot.
Hillary had more supporters before she tried to claim that she was winning the popular vote, KNOWING that that was false.
Hillary had more supporters before she started caring about Michigan and Florida only when she started to lose.

Hillary had more supporters before she let escape the blood-drenched words of assassination as a justification for her to stay in the race, and she has the utter gall to blame Obama.

Hillary has turned her campaign from a presidential candidate, into a crying shoulder for professional victims.

The train wreck of Hillary for 2008 is entirely of her own making. PERIOD.”

Clinton tried to win this primary by acting like a Republican, and she did appeal to racists to further her own ends.

The superdelegates are doing their duty, and more of them are going for Obama daily. I haven't noticed any open threats of riots, but it is easy to imagine, because if Barack's nomination is overturned at the behest of a whiny Clinton, there would be justified anger.

For Christ's sake, Hillary is feeding from the bottom of the barrel by mentioning Karl Rove's support for her candidacy. How sad is that?”
