Gibbs Mocks Steele's Speaking Fees, Calls Him Delusional

“Let's see: If Michael Steele makes $223,500 per year working for the RNC the assumption can be made that he is working 24 hours a day 365 days a year, right? Well, if he decides to make speaking engagements during some of the hours he's being paid by the RNC, isn't he DOUBLE BILLING somebody ? And isn't that against the law ?
The RNC should have a talk with Mr. Steele.

I think if you went back to the period following WWII you would see some of the prime characters in the 'Shadow Government' that would manage much of our foreign affairs from the boardrooms of industry. Mostly under the leadership of Nelson Rockefeller they laid the foundation ......(Sor ry, got to go open some XMas presents! Duty calls!)

“Okay, I just watched it. He said given the way the GOP is acting we may as well go and pass this bill but he also said it needs a public option.
He further said that it may be as Tom Harken said, we can revisit the public option but that it makes more sense to do it now by expanding Medicare.
He said that if the insurance companies are going to give us a 30-year fight over regulations we may as well get a head start, and this bill does that.
People have to stop trying to boil down what he said into a one liner and label it either "pro" or "con". It's not that simple.
He is for the House bill and wants more of its provisions inserted in Conference Committee. He said that the exchanges are actually stronger now in the Senate version although they were better in the House bill to begin with.
He said a lot more than that, too.
Here is the link for anyone who CARES ENOUGH to actually watch for themselves and not take someone else's word for it:
