“I got half way through the text, started feeling ill, and reached the conclusion that Whoopi should be very very ashamed of herself. Any apologistic babble uttered in support of a grown man seducing a 13 year old child is inexcusable. If it was Whoopi's daugther it would be a different story.”

“Mr Brooks belongs to the tiny remnant of the intellectual wing of the Republican Party that still exists. I am very disappointed that he and his brethren have consitently stretched to find apologistic reasons for the base behavior of the "less eloquent" of their political bedfellows.”

“The medias coverage cuts both ways....It has legitimized the loons along with those who have any real grievances. It could be easily argued that without the hysterical prodding of certain right-wing media personalities there would be very limited coverage of these events. The loons show up in response to their raves. Otherwise put, their "passion" is whipped up by media facilitators that are taking advantage of a demographic's predisposition to extreme words and actions, independent of real fact.”

“It is good to remember that no matter how unpalitable the protestors actions may be to some, they do have the right to protest. Discussions on whether their protests are based on fact, fiction, or a little blue squirrel named Jake, are moot. There is no I.Q. minimum for our citizenry. If the protests are devoid of truly unprovoked violence, they are a stark reality. Based on the right's ability to whip it's base in a frenzy, I'm wondering why these actions surprise anyone. There is no simple solution. The defenders of the health care initiative must find a way to be more effiective than the screaming meemie wingnuts. This is our system........”

“Comparing the media's reaction to Secretary Clinton's candidacy, and Almost Ex-Gov. Palin's candidacy is like comparing an apple to a rock.....this article tastes more like residual sour grapes.........As a " Political consultant, former Internet Adviser to Hillary Clinton" I would expect you to understand that since the lives of our politicians are brought to us in gory detail 24/7 there would be a segment of the populace (including the media) that will say very unkind, and often untrue things. It is a problem that each candidate deals with. Your appeal to these cretins to consider the humanity of the candidates is nieve, and borders on being disingenous. Cretins will do cretinous things. They say things that make people mad. We survive as a society because they lack sufficient numbers, and influence, to rule the world. Through out the campaign Secretary Clinton displayed the gravitas to weather the bashing. Almost Ex-Gov. Palin had to have gravitas spelled, and defined for her........”

WAH WAH!!! pretty much everything she has been criticized on has been of her own making. she dragged her whole clan out on stage paraded them around everywhere like they were jewelry. she TOLD everyone about her daughter's pregnancy. she created the caricature she became, miss winky.... i mean, c'mon!!! then she went out and attacked obama.... LIED about obama everyday, inciting the lunatics in her audience to call him a terrorist and all sorts of things. you don't hear obama out there whining about being called a muslim or a terrorist. he never did. the most he ever said was that he was not a terrorist, or that he was not a muslim. she reminds me of the kids in school who go around picking on other kids and then act like they are their friends when the teacher is looking. just GO AWAY palin!! Please!! for the love of god!!”
