“well bless you...but airports have wildlife management teams that do nothing but deter birds. And geese are protected under the migratory bird act. As well these are permanent resident geese that don't go as far as our airport.
Protection of Canada Geese
Canada Geese are protected under the Federal Migratory Bird Act of 1918
. This Act makes it illegal to harm or injure a goose and damage or
move its eggs and nest, without a Federal permit. Not complying with the
Federal Act can result in fines ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 and this
also applies to an untrained dog’s actions.
“Dogs will go where ever they can find food, such as rats. If it weren't for the dogs, the rat population would have been alot worse. I don't believe in animal shelters but the Humane Society should stay intact because their job is to collect and remove unwanted animals off the premises upon request by the property owners. The Humane Society should drop off some of the dogs near bodies of water, like a lake or river, and far out into the country. Also, the State of Michigan is surrounded by the Great Lakes where dogs can't get across to roam farther away to find food.”

“How much $$ do you give to your local Humane Society a year?”
“Have you ever seen at least two people whose faces look almost exactly identical even though they were totally unrelated to each other? I have many times too many. I even saw at least two other women, at two different places, whose faces look almost identical to mine even though I did not know them.
We live in a crazy world where some people do really crazy things like shooting the wrong person through mistaken identity. I am leaving my face off of FACEBOOK for my own safety.”
“"If someone hacks your password, you can change it – as many times as you want," Franken, a Democrat from Minnesota, said in a letter sent Thursday to Apple CEO Tim Cook. "You can’t change your fingerprints. You have only ten of them. And you leave them on everything you touch; they are definitely not a secret."
Some decades ago a young boy was a winner of secret million dollar contest/bet to hack into the computer for an electrical power company to cause a power outage for over a month for millions of people in or near the New York area.
I would not be surprised if some rich person is putting up a bet to put a company out of business through a computer hacker that can break some secret code to collect and manipulate everybody's fingerprints. Just my wild guess.”

I agree. I read in Reader's Digest magazine about hackers in eastern Europe hacking into Americans' computers in the U.S. to steal money from Americans' credit card purchases on various websites (especially banks).”

You consider Readers Digest a credible source of tech info?”
“During the Depression of the 1930's homeless people stood in line for a bowl of soup. I think this businessman that hired homeless people was trying to make homeless people appear mentally dysfunctional by making them stand in line for iphones instead of food. Another words, it was a businessman's rude prank on the homeless
who doesn't like to pay taxes on the poor.”

“Back in the 1980's it was believed that breathing the outside air by a busy street in Chicago all day is equivalent to smoking one pack of cigarettes in one day; of course that was before there were catalytic convertors installed into vehicles.
Some people don't smoke much (occasionally) and some smoke alot (a pack per day). Catherine is probably one of those who very seldom smoked and smoked very little and with a filter.
Maybe she was picking up her kids from a purochial (religious) school.”
“According to a small graph chart found in the "Bloomberg News" magazine, the cost of receiving an open heart surgery in the U.S. is about $74,000.00 but for the same surgery in the U.K. it costs about $14,000.00. Health care for U.K. citizens is paid for through taxes compared to the U.S. it is paid for by private health insurance; the U.K. pay the same amount of taxes as the U.S. Doctors and hospitals/clinics want to make alot of money/profit and so do private health insurance executives and private health insurance companies; they impose the increase on the insured patients or insurance customers.”
“I feel sorry for the soldier, Brandon Harker, who lost his dog through an untrustworthy friend and I think every soldier who wants a dog definitely deserves to have one. However, taking care of a dog is a commitment and alot of work, especially for a big dog that likes to be outdoors alot, I know, because I have a 1 year old male Goldendoodle.
There are private organizations that will find volunteers to care for soldiers' dogs during deployment. I think it should be the responsibility of the Veterans Administration Office to provide the names of private organizations that care for soldiers' dogs or at least be willing to help find volunteers to help care for their dogs while being deployed. President Obama has a dog named "Bo" and I am sure he will help make this happen if enough soldiers ask for his help on this matter.”
“How can he control the city of New York if he cannot control his sexting habit? His wife stands by him no matter what he does wrong, which is probably why he continues with his sexting habit. Even though she was raised in the U.S., her mother, I think, was raised somewhere in the Middle East of Arabic countries where polygamous marriages were allowed.
In the Osama Bin Laden compound where he was killed by the U.S. Navy Seals, they also found a pile of pornographic magazines along with his numerous wives.”
“I think this is a good idea to replace a baby news with something else of more interest to individual readers. I like the Duchess Catherine, Prince William and baby news but the problem is, I never get to hear news about Queen Elizabeth's other children besides Prince Charles, such as Princess Margaret, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward. Prince Charles will be next in line for the throne but suppose something would happen to him before the Queen or Prince Phillip goes, we don't know much about her other three children. What are her other three children doing to "earn" their royalties? I think they need a new law in place saying all children should take turns being in the public eye to earn their royalties.”
“I hope Kate and her baby are doing alright. I am sure those doctors in U.K. know about giving Magnesium intravenously for birth mothers who slip into seizures. I saw it on television health channel a doctor gave a birth mother Magnesium IV but she slipped into a coma because they gave her too much magnesium too quickly; it has to be the right amount of dose.”
“I still have the same questions concerning wireless phones. What is wrong with using just a landline phone and let the answering machine record the messages for you and listen to your messages when you get home? Unless you commute long distance, then I can see why.
I wish Apple would just get started in making the iTV (internet television) and I hope it is not just for ordering movies but also for sending/receiving emails, online shopping and surfing the web. I had a WEBTV for two years but gave it up when I learned I had to have a computer and ISP attached with all those downloadable stuff like anti-virus, spyware, adware, malware, etc. I spend more time downloading upgrades than I do networking. Hopefully the iTV will be different.”

“A few years ago the Reader's Digest magazine had a article about how much oil the U.S. consumes in various ways in comparison to other countries. It stated the U.S. is the largest consumer of oil for use in transporation than any other country in the world. The U.S. has more vehicles on the roads, has more larger vehicles (SUVs) compared to other countries people drive smaller sized vehicles, ride bikes, walk, and take public transits.”

“My computer is over ten years old with dial up service; internet is too slow. I went into the Apple website and got the locations of the nearest stores but that icon on their website does not give me the experience to try out their computers and Macintosh software; more Apple stores are needed in smaller cities and not just the larger cities.”
“Where were these whistleblowers when President George W. Bush announced on television shortly after the attack on World Trade Center that all international calls made in the U.S. was going to be tapped by the National Security Administration (NSA), I reckon those guys were probably in high school and college?
With all the identity theft that goes on by internet, I would much rather have my internet be spied on by the NSA than individual hackers I know nothing about.”
“I wish I could have an Apple computer myself because I heard Macintosh is so much easier to use and doesn't require as much downloading of updates but the problem is the nearest Apple stores are so far away in bigger cities. I wish they would open up more stores but in smaller cities so more people will buy Apple computers instead of all those other brands.”

“I think what really kills people is the expense of wars; it costed us Americans between 9 trillion dollars to 11 trillion dollars which the U.S. borrowed from the country of China in the form of U.S. Treasury Notes to pay for the Iraq war and help in rebuilding Iraq. Sanctions should be the alternative to wars and Obamacare for ALL American citizens should be kept intact. If all of us Americans were on the same health care insurance by mandate, the premiums would be much lower.”

“Does ground red pepper count? I often shake red cayenne pepper and salt on my hamburgers instead of ground black pepper. I also use red pepper flakes on my pizza. I also eat the canned lentil soup from ALDI store. One egg and an orange I eat every morning for breakfast along with farina (50% RDA of Iron for energy) cooked in milk instead of water. Why isn't orange the same as grapefruit? I like to eat ruby red grapefruit as a dessert for dinner .”
“Even though I was a white natural born citizen of U.S.A. and so were my parents, I was examined by student doctors (medical interns) when I was a patient at a hospital wearing nothing but a body cast. The medical interns of course had to receive permission from my parents first before examining me.
I personally don't see anything wrong with a Yale professor using immigrants as interview subjects for the purpose of training the Green Berets for future professional research use.”

“This may sound crazy but I often wondered which candidate would have won in a board game of Chess and American Checkers because it takes a certain amount of prioritizing and strategic thinking/planning ahead into the future to win, but so does running this country to improve the economy and solve our country's problems.”
“It is not government dependency that is the problem, but the number of human workers being replaced by computers/robotics more than new jobs being created, which causes people no other alternatives except to turn to the government for help. Too many people who lost jobs took the advice to start their own businesses, but most of those small start-up businesses failed in less than 2-3 years because of too much competition.”
“I think any kind of discussion about marijuana in the White House is a total waste of taxpayers' money. Anybody who can't get naturally "high" without the use of drugs or marijuana is mentally ill and should see a psychiatrist. Any psychiatrist will say being high all the time is not mentally normal. I think people need to get the idea out of their heads the need to have to feel high all the time and just work at thinking positively, learn to count their blessings and to deal with life's problems the best way they know how. If you go through a traumatic experience in life like a car accident, divorce, job loss, etc., just get yourself an alcoholic drink to alter the state of your mind, just don't over do it, drink responsibly.
Anyone who disagrees with me on this should not even bother replying because I will not respond.”

“Your way or the highway, is it? I am a senior bearing with a two very painful conditions. I cannot take pain meds because they make me sick and as for your advice to just have a drink. Have you any idea of how bad alcohol is for people with certain afflictions. You are way off base, but no one will convince you that you are wrong. That is obvious. Three of my doctors have advised that I would be a perfect candidate for marijuana, but my state would incarcerate me if I should be caught with weed. Did you know that marijuana has been shown to reduce the size of tumors? No? I didn't think so. Please don't reply.”

“Good because you're not thinking rationally.
Alcohol is as dangerous as heroin and that's what you're promoting? You seem to think there's a difference between alcohol and marijuana when, in actuality, marijuana has fewer addictive properties than does alcohol. The point is that people smoke pot, this 'war against drugs' is ineffectual and wastes money, all studies that claim that marijuana leads to indulging in harder drugs have been proven wrong, and the ingredients for making meth - the singularly most dangerous drug in the world today, can be purchased over the counter (Sudafed) and aren't pulled by the company that makes the product because it makes them too much money. Thank you for not responding.”
