Secty Gibbs needs to stop being "CUTE" and "SMILEY" ... STOP passing off the public degradation of Obama as "SILLY" or "CRAZY" or inconsequential. All of the admin's talking heads need to get SERIOUS and refuse to collude with those who despise Obama and want him to just "disappear­." Call them out on it, not for being silly or crazy, but for their real crime of trying to destroy the dignity office of the President of the United States and trying to destroy the man himself with vicious attacks. The silence of those with power and influence renders them just as responsible as the Obama-haters for hindering progress in this country. It is reprehensible to me that they refuse to simply speak the TRUTH in defense of human dignity. They should be doing this loudly and clearly EVERY SINGLE TIME another lie is propagated, every single time another vicious insult is hurled at our President. What is wrong with them?????”

What Obama is doing is what REAL CHANGE LOOKS LIKE! It's NOT pretty, it's messy, it's chaotic, it's unbelievably hard, there is huge resistance, people are afraid and fight against it. There will be missteps and steps backward, as well as steps forward. It's a dangerously rocky road to negotiate, but what is the alternative?

It's going to take a long time to clean out the toxic mess that has accumulated on the political landscape of America, but it has to start somewhere! Obama has put himself out there to take on this seemingly impossible challenge. Give the man a break! Don't wimp out him now, darn it! He's just started.”

“I am of pure Irish heritage with VERY white skin - not the redhead with freckles kind - just WHITE - almost translucent. Could never go to the beach or swimming without covering up. Kids would laugh at my white legs if I wore shorts. I always had shame and embarrassment about this - always wishing I was like "regular" people who could get a tan in the summer, even if they had "light" skin in the winter. I married a Hawai'an / Philipino and have 2 lovely daughters, both with gorgeous complexions. I used to tease my husband that I only married him so I could have kids that could get tan! The upside is that I don't have a lot of wrinkles as I age, since I couldn't go out in the sun. And I still have "issues" about my white skin.”

“I don't know how old you are, Ms Siskind, but I doubt you were a young adult in the 60's and 70's like I was. Perhaps you think you're being "cutting edge," but your purported "New Agenda" is simply the OLD agenda in a new time. The "old agenda" was an appropriate and necessary strategy (loud, in your face), as women meandered out of the 50's and realized they had no voice. If this new "wave" was truly "a quiet acceptance" that something must be done, I would not be sitting here banging my keyboard in response to your article and Willow's mother would be "quietly" and steadfastly supporting her daughter's inner strength and beauty, as she would have been doing since the day she was born.
Do you really think a 14-year old girl isn't absolutely mortified that her name and face are being splattered all over the tabloids? Do you really think a 14-year old girl doesn't wish her mother would just come home and "be with her," instead of using the msm to make accusations of perversion in her daughter's name?
