“I live in CA. This is my point of reference. I had to wake up Nov 5th being blamed for Prop 8. I had to experience the anger directed towards me for something that wasn't true. That stays with me. I'm not equating my feelings with Prop 8 or how the gay community feels about issues - I won't ask for understanding either because I know on the grand scale, my hurt feelings don't amount to much when it's compared to someone's rights, but I tired of asking for understanding and comprehension that should have been extended from someone in my own party.”
