Why Replacing Biden With Hillary Makes Perfect Sense for Obama

“Come on. The worst thing Obama could do would be to dump Biden. Talk about a stupid suggestion.”

“"Who cares how it looks."
Umm, the voting populace of the United States, on both sides. I agree with Chaz, this would look to EVERYONE like he was second-guessing himself, unable to decide on a VP, trying to follow McCain in picking a woman VP, kow-towing to Clinton... .
This idea strikes me as a really bad idea, and the more thought I give it, the worse it looks.
Oh, and the vast majority of the "18 million Hillary voters" (a phrase repeated ad nauseum, gotta say) have gladly embraced Obama already. The myth of 18 million Democrat voters (that's VOTERS, not WOMEN voters, let's not now say all 18 million were women!) gladly rushing to embrace an old-school politician and his socially far-right Neocon VP pick, who'd do their best to strip women of much of the social gains over the past few decades just BECAUSE she's a woman? Ridiculous.”

“I am on record saying a long time ago that Wesley Clark would have been an excellent choice for Al Gore if he had run in the 2008 contest. This was a while before Obama had announced his bid. I think Clark would be an excellent Vice President. If not that a great candidate to head Homeland Security. Actually they should get rid of Homeland Security and make the FBI and CIA work the way they should be working. Regardless, Clark is more than excellent as a VP contender. Check out some of his speeches on YouTube.
He never spoke ill of Obama even though he was a Clinton supporter. He has excellent military credentials and he too was against going into Iraq. He minimizes McCain's military background as well. Sure McCain was a P.O.W. for years and God bless him for serving. But McCain never led troops or headed up an operation as Clark did. He is a good looking guy from the South, what more could you ask for?”

Yeah. Homeland Security is George W. Bush's promise to us of smaller government, and don't forget that the GOP says "government never works". (True, if it is being run by the GOP.)”

“I am leaning towards Wesley Clark. Attractive, distinguished, has name recognition, has superior military background, was against going into Iraq, he is older but not too old, Arkansas (son of the South) is his home state and he is a Hillary supporter who has never slammed Obama. I can't think of a better VP nominee.”

“The spoof ad reminds me of, "Can you smell what the Rock is cooking?!" from WWE fame.”

“I'm surprised nobody's thought of that in Obama's camp. "Can you smell what Barack is cooking?"”
