“We need the latest senate bill and we need a CBO report NOW!

Know why the delay? Cuz the CBO report blows the bill sky high, that's why.

If there's no way to contain costs, no legitimate way, the math never lies.”

“Taxation without representation anyone? Cuz that's what we are getting with this congress. 60% of the country wanted a public option, 56% to 35% in the blue dog states, yet they think we won't notice this bailout to big insurance. They are not representing the people and the pres is being pigheaded.”

This doesn't make insurance affordable, or healthcare for that matter, it just props up an overpriced system with taxpayer dollars.

“For Obama to try to pass this bill off as comparable to Medicare reform is a joke and an insult.

Obama came out yelling at us, shaming us to support a bill he hadn't even read and had no CBO for.

If this is his idea of keeping his promises, piled on to other times of not keeping his promises or upholding the law. I fear we all have been had and that he really never even cared about us.

He can hem and haw and pound his chest and wag his finger all he wants. I don't need him, or Robert Gibbs, or Rockefeller or congress telling me I'm far left and I don't know what's good for me.

“Reconciliation is used for budget measures. It's ironic but they could ONLY pass the public option or medicare for all thru reconciliation. They could put good insurance industry reform in another bill that would require 60 votes.”

“this might help:

http://www.politicsdaily.com/2009/12/14/podesta-democrats-will-pass-health-bill-with-or-without-lieberm/

"Podesta said he is confident a health care bill will pass. Reconciliation is difficult and complicated, he said, but "it definitely can be done."
Among the complications: it can only include provisions that directly relate to how much money the government spends and takes in. Insurance reforms such as banning exclusions of people who have pre-existing conditions would have to be in a separate bill, which would be subject to a filibuster.

Finally, anything passed as part of a budget reconciliation bill would expire in 10 years unless it was renewed or revised."”
