“Do not pull the "Music sucks today" and "back when I was young" card. Do not just assume music was better then. The reality is, Lennon would be obsolete today as the young pop culture dictates popularity.”

“Agreed that there is a hurtful aspect to intergenerational comparisons, yet as I read " Lennon would be obsolete today", the lashing back defensively is painfully obvious. Please enlighten us as to who is comparable to Lennon in today's "young pop culture" - in terms of raw talent, creative genius, spirituality, youthfulness of spirit, musicality, and societal relevance........
The answer is NOBODY. Which might explain why he is still so revered on what would have been his seventieth birthday.”

“as much as I think FB and Twiiter had a role in this, there is still an underlining conversation that has to take place, and that is that the parents need to be more involved now then they ever have been before. As a new father, and avid user of technology, i have to make sure i spend more time with my family and daughter then with technology. Not an easy balance when its my job, but I have to make time and make sure i am involved with my daughters life.”
