Richardson's Lies Have Finally Caught Up to Him
Commented Jan 05, 2009 at 20:59:58 in Politics
“It is strange that Bill Richardson has acheived so much and suddenly revelations about his career and past and connections and state business dealings has been propelled to the headlines.
This is reminiscent of a behind the scenes house-cleaning of politicians. New Mexico is often considered a blue state. He threw his baseball cap in with Obama. He served in the Clinton administration in a couple of different positions.
A politics trap conincidentally surfaced. The issue of judge appointments in New Mexico and other states has been an ongoing major problem for the outgoing administration. Focusing on the previous New Mexico judge appointments is certainly a parallel issue.
Most Americans do not understand or comprehend politics in the State of New Mexico. If you ask, 30-40 % of Americans in a poll of the State's existence and history, they do not even realize there is such a state in the Republic.
The problem seems to be more of a Red versus Blue State war. The Red State crowd will point a finger at state corruption while they set-up for the next election.”

“In making calls during the primary campaign, I found New Mexico voters to be the most ill informed and apathetic of any voters I called. The primary was the next day and more voters than not were unaware of unclear about when and where they should vote. The rest said they were undecided. It was strange.”

“That's the thing: he hasn't really accomplished that much. His state should be rich in revenue with tourism and celebrity's property taxes. It has one of the very worst public educational systems, and great poverty or great wealth, not much inbetween.
He has a great revenue because he is great gladhandler and bluffer. I was afraid he would be a liability, based on other stuff I know about him. Glad it happened now and not after Administration in office.”

“The series of tragic events in the last weeks of the transition to a new administration is revealing.
Mumbai and now the events in Gaza.
The free passes which promotes the above events is premonitory. The absence of awareness of issues in the Gaza prior ot the bombings is what occurred to me upon seeing the news of bombings of the area. The troubles and politics that initiated the bombings certainly escaped my average American citizen news periscope.
The same thing occurred to me once bombings were perpetuated in Northern Lebanon is the last series of bombings. I grew up in an Irish-American neighborhood which included Lebanese, Syrians, and Jewish people.
There is a current information void outside of the region until something happens and then there is a reaction based on the framing of the situational conflicts.”

Obama Going Easy on Bush? Say It Ain't So

“A review of recent history reveals a sequence of events that are tagged as suspicious behavior, aka, premeditated war mongering. The first US military offensive against Irag in 1991 by Bush Senor was proclaimed to be a victory but he ony went as far as the Irag border. Bush junor comes along and the 10 year war monger plan against Iraq is implemented across the border. Cheney is a common factor for both military operations. Artificial manipulation of intelligence to suit personal agendas is also a common factor.
I am not a military person, myself, but spend personal time reviewing military history, including from the modern and ancient world. I saw a quote from Confucious in one of the blog posts. I misplaced my copy of the Wen Zu which is an interesting study of ancient battle strategies. Yet it seems to me that military tacticians who claim they want to finish an operation that they started should consider that the job in Iraq should have been completed and finished in the early 1990's with Bush senor. It was left undone at that time. Poor war strategy and planning. Irag revisited in the 2002- present has been and is a serious problem,”

The Native Americans near Chimayo, NM have the grail. It is somewhere in the desert sand there.
Belgian Knight Sir Lancelot's Excalibur sword was in the American Legion Hall on Golden Hill Street in Bridgeport, CT years ago when her father was President. A beautiful, young Russian ballerina taught ballet to young girls in that hall in the early 1960's, The scandinvarian Gi's stashed it there after WWII with other European Knight's antiquities stolen by the Nazi's,
Camelot, the legacy, is the United States and the British can get insulted all they care to, The Knight's antiquities disappeared in the 1980's and the old American Legion Hall, here, in Mark Twain's court closed up. No one knows where the Knight's antiquities have disappeared to, but it seems they are not to be found in Washington, D. C. ,
The metaphor is at a trail's end, The revolving door of potential jobs is mind-boggling!”

Bin Laden's New Weapon of Mass Destruction
Commented Dec 25, 2008 at 20:23:51 in Politics
“Stretching the American military thin is an obvious objective on the chess board.
Spin-off terrorist arms who have set-up shop and operate in the mainstream are more of a problem than cave dwellers at this juncture. The 9/11 terrorist attacks set the stage for the afore-referended. Ultimately, patience will capture bin Laden more than large numbers of troops,
On another front, which is not religious but originates from a destroyer mind-set, i. e., the high-rollin centurion game-players of the world including the Bush/Cheney chess set: one objective is to gain control of the "Nature's Gate" and use it for their own purposes and gain. Destruction of antiquities, and traditions, and imposition of totalitarian control mechanisms such as has occurred previously with the Taliban is only one example.
Intentional destruction is a form of extortion. Terrorism is one destructive modality, It is important to carefully consider troop allocation and numbers. Many people want vengence for the terrrorism on September 11, 2001. It is necessary to save-face, but trying to trap rats when you know they will bite if cornered is why chasing cave dwellers with a few thousand more troops needs to be rethinked!”

“The emphasis of writings of Marx and Engels was on the historical origins of capitalism. In addition, Marx wrote extensively on the history of economics. He advanced his own explanations on the origins of growth in capitalist systems. Theories of origins and of how things work can be incorrect, but they can't be ideologies.”

“Federalism is a structural construct of the American Republic that did not have a built in plan which addressed the possibility of crooks, panderers, and profiteers like Bush and Cheney.
Corporations, themselves, are not the problem; however, the integrity of the corporate leaders is an issue. The wonderful construct of Federalism is evident when one tours our nation's capital, Washington DC.
The mortgage and credit market problems, although they may have been foreseeable by experts, are a major sabotage job of the economic security that Americans have always enjoyed. It is not rich versus poor in the United States. While Americans are being put on the street by the economic problems, others who quietly live off of illegal money, such as drugs, have been piling into homes creating the appearance of stability in middle class neighborhoods. This is not a positive transformation or positive change.
What bothers me while observing these variations in American neighborhood society is that these transformations can become dangerous including for the promulgation of ideologies such as communism - disenchantment with the government, people on the street, starvation, worry about banks, etc.,
While the former Soviet Union countries have been trying to climb out of the hole that Communism left, our nation is being pushed toward that hole. Perhaps that is one pitfall of manipulation of the laissez-faire capitalism from within the United States. This is a mightly nation that needs to focus on its internal operations and machinations.”

Can We Negotiate With the Taliban?

Religious control of the Afganistan civilization and the poppy and opium market?
Since the troops were sent to Afganistan, the issues have become amorphous. Today,
the news indicates that 30,000 more US troops will be sent to that country next year. The moderate Karzid questions the usefulness of the troop increase in populated areas. Who can define these issues. Karzid perhaps can develop a citizen's action committee to reach out to the various insurgents which does seems unrealistic given the current state things,
One possible solution given the track of the importance of the opium market is hit-up some new-style drug dealers on American streets. The latest developments in trendsetting heroin manufacture in neighborhoods drug communes which have popped-up in the last few years. Maybe we need some citizen's action committees to reach in and get some insight, No doubt Castro could shed some light on the subject . Cubans have a more recent heroin manufacture market,

“The Republicans are playing a dangerous game of clubbing potentially 3 million autoworkers jobs, while compounding job and vehicle sales woes at nationwide car and truck dealership who also rely on credit lending for vehicle sales. All this following months of skyrocketing oil and gas prices, which suddenly dropped just as the automaker's were set to visit Washington for the bailout discussion. All of this occurring in the last 30 to 90 days of the Bush/Cheney empire.
The other potential problem is the social inflammatory reaction which will worsen if the American automakers fail. Citizens and workers need to see their national economic and labor environment stabilized instead of in limbo. The agenda might also include the wider scope of internal stabilization so that repercussions to international markets are prevented.
The October 2008 issue of Motor Trend magazine has a brief article entitled: "Happy 100th Birthday, GM" which includes a history of General Motors for the last 100 years. In 1924 the comment from then GM President was: A car for every purse"..
Reading through the Motor Trend magazine which includes lists of national car shows, it is obvious the American public loves cars and trucks. The magazine pages are full of confident new vehicle profiles for American and Foreign automakers. GM Ford and Chrysler are the heart of American manufacturing, the vote was an attempt to cut out the heart of America in a time of economic and labor crisis.”

Perhaps it is not common knowledge.
The suggestion of government control of oil and gas exploration on national lands in the future is preposterouch. It is reminiscent of Saddam Hussein and governmental control of oil in Iraq.
It is tiring to see and listen to the use of history, such as the TVA reference, removed from the original context and put into play in mainstream political discourse and debate.”
