“You are responding to a year old comment? Already had this conversation, dozens of times. Zimmerman was not ORDERED to return to his vehicle. Martin physically attacked Zimmerman. Bad situation. The take away is not to assault someone, they may be armed.”
“This is old news, and hindsight is 20/20. It would have been nice to take him out, but we would have needed to get permission from the Pakistanis's to carry out this attack. At the time it would have been more likely that they would have alerted Bin Laden rather than allow his capture/death. Also we didn't have the resources in place to carry out a quick strike like we did in 2011. Probably the right call. Too bad they just didn't crash the drone into him. I would imagine a 30 pound drone going 180 mph would do some serious damage. That's what Jason Bourne would have done.”
“Fake - It didn't wash up. Someone put it there. This same thing happened a couple of years ago in Florida.”

“That's what I'm thinking. Pianos weigh a ton (if you've ever tried to move one) from the internal metal frame to which the strings and keys are attached. The bouyancy of the wood would have to be great enough to offset the weight of the metal. I'd have my doubts with a baby grand piano.”
“Yes, it is communism as practiced by every country that has tried it. Everyone is equal, it's just that some are more equal. Name one communist nation that didn't have a crazy, torturing dictator who has a ruling elite and everyone else at the bottom.”
“I know I am going to have to walk you through this slowly - but - the United States cleaned up it's act decades ago. We already set the example. See that white stuff coming out of the smokestacks in this article? That is steam, not smoke. We are already scrubbing our emissions.
I didn't say we are not polluting, I said we already have taken drastic measures to reduce our emissions. The WHO published pollution levels for 1600 cities worldwide. The United States has zero cities in the top 100 dirtiest cities. Only 1 US city is in the top 600 dirtiest cities. The United States could cut our emissions to zero and there would be zero effect on the climate. All Obama is doing driving our clean coal plants out of business. But hey that means China can buy the coal at a cheaper rate.
And the Cuyahoga river fire was 45 years ago.”

“Talk as slowly as you feel you need to but the fact that you, apparently in all seriousness, think that United States is no longer polluting makes anything you say, at any speed, simply and utterly unbelievable.
He is driving dirty plants out of business and thank goodness for that. We have two where I live and they are both closing. They couldn't meet the new requirements, their generating capicity was no longer needed, natural gas is cheaper and cleaner, and no jobs were lost as all the employees were transferred to other plants. No downside other than 2 giant ponds of toxic sludge which remain to be cleaned up. Amazingly, the utilitiy's initial proposal to build walls around them so we could pretend they just weren't there was rejected by my red state and the utility has agreed to remove the sludge and send it to another state, possibly yours. That's OK, though, because to you, arsenic, lead, cadmium, and all the other toxic metals they contain apparently ceased to exist 60 years ago.
“We cleaned up our act 60 years ago. Read ( I know that is a difficult thing for libs to understand) about the 1939 St. Louis smog, or the 1948 Donora smog. Only lib logic says that the people who are not polluting, should clean up their act while the real polluters (China, India, Iran, Pakistan) should be given a pass.”

“We are not polluting? The only valid reply to that is a hearty LOL! Then again, maybe pollution doesn't penetrate The Conservative Bubble.
Who is giving those countries "a pass?" Contrary to what conservatives seem to think and claim on a daily basis, President Obama is not a "Supreme Leader" and "a dictator" that can tell other countries what to do. We can only set an example.
I realize that the Cuyahoga River hasn't burst into flames recently but there's still work to be done.”
“I am being serious here. Why do you bother to come to this site if you are incapable of participating in honest adult conversation? None of the the top 1000 most polluted cities are in the United States. The US ranks as one of the cleanest countries on the planet. How is driving up the cost of our energy going to have any effect on the climate?”
“And then you said "wishing them harm is lowing our selves to (their) standards." Implication?”

“Look at the repub/cons record. You support Wall Street instead of Main Street, you believe anyone different than you does not have, or should not have, the same rights you have. I could go on with your and the repubs/cons hypocrisy, but why bother when it would be lost on you.”
