Yes it is. But more so, it is the economic conservative utopia of "free markets".
And conservative ideology and theocracy walk hand in hand. Example: Of the 13 Rep. / Con presidential nominees for President none the less, ONLY ONE, yes just one, raised their hand when asked if they believe in evolution. heh

“Republicans held power largely due to support from the christian right, so to now give it the old "well, that's just a slice and doesn't represent the party" is B S. Your party HAS walked hand in hand and there's no way around that fact unless you just choose to ingnore it.”

“This just goes to show how little you know. Just because you are Conservative, does not mean you walk hand in hand with religious theocracy. There many people with conservative views that do not hold that view. You take a small slice and claim that it is the truth. That is minimalist thinking at it's worst”

Obama can get tough when he wants to.
He certainly did in the following instance:. ...
The White House is playing hardball with Democrats who intend to vote against the supplemental war spending bill, threatening freshmen who oppose it that they won't get help with reelection and will be cut off from the White House,

“In the blame department, it is simple...i f the Democrats in Congress had been united and delivered to the president a bill that included the public option/single payer option and/or extended medicare to age 55 and he vetoed it, them blame him!! But when the Ben Nelson's, Mary Landrieu's, Evan Bayh's, and Joe Liebermann's have done nothing more than play egotistical and obstructionist games with America, then we MUST blame them. With the majorities held in congress, the House and Senate Democrats could have slam-dunked this bill. Instead, they are taking the money and running from their responsibility. I do wish that President Obama will get tough and say that without at least one of the options in the bill, he'll veto it.”

“House freshman who have little name recognition, and even less money. So yes, it's a LOT easier to bully those folks.
Senators with longevity? Not so easy. And with respect to the issue of one man having more "power" than the President? Well, yes, if that one vote can filibuster a bill.
It'll be too late, but here's hoping that the people of Connecticut finally get rid of Lieberman.”

Wrong, the failure was caused because way too much catering to the right and corporate interest.
Because from the beginning, when the plan is driven by corporatist from the DLC like Rham then it eventually ends with a bill that would benefit the Corps and not the people.”

Global Warming
Global warming is an increase in the average temperature of Earth's surface. Since the late 1800's, the global average temperature has increased about 0.7 to 1.4 degrees F (0.4 to 0.8 degrees C).
.
A majority of climatologists have concluded that human activities are responsible for most of the warming. Human activities contribute to global warming by enhancing Earth's natural greenhouse effect.
