Democrats should not be punished for the gamesmanship of politicians. If all of this is true, the people never saw this coming. I don't care if Hillary backers or anyone else warned us.
If everything is true, then the party and President Obama did this to us and themselves.”

Iraq Insurgents Hack U.S. Drones For Under $26
Commented Dec 17, 2009 at 08:52:28 in World
“It is remarkable how primitive societies can defeat the technological giants. Vietnam was very instructive in this regard. Invading countries and trying to impose some corrupt puppet doesn't always work and will never work in Afghanistan. Now we have this example of the insurgents figuring out how to read these advanced drones. The arrogance of empire will be its undoing.”
WasteNJ replied on Dec 17, 2009 at 09:28:00

That should have tipped us to his real allegiance. If what I read was true, and I read it in two different places but can't find the articles, if I saved them, then he is as big a monster as is Lieberman.

Greenwald: The Bill Obama Wanted All Along
Commented Dec 16, 2009 at 11:07:38 in Politics
“I salute Mr. Greenwald for his perceptiveness and I still think it would be a much more open and honest debate if there were two more political parties on both the left and the right with both the republicans and democrats on the decline and quite useless in any event. If progressive party could get about 20 percent of the vote it would force the democrats to deal with them like they deal with reactionaries like Lieberman and Nelson now.”

Progressive Groups Turn Sights On Rahm Over Health Care (VIDEO)
Commented Dec 15, 2009 at 10:05:29 in Politics
“Rahm Emanuel is a close friend and political ally of president Obama who deliberately chose him as his top man so all the heat should be on Obama himself because he has chosen the most conservative democrats as his closet advisors. This cannot be an accident. Obama and Emanuel believe strongly in political power only and they believe the country is far more conservative than liberal and unfortunately they are probably right.”

“As an Obama supporter, I am very disappointed. He has betrayed us by turning his back on his campaign promises regarding healthcare. He cut deals with the insurers and PHARMA and handed off the rest to Congress without any leadership or pressure to design a Bill that even resembled his campaign bullet points. He has backed off real reform in favor of the corporate interests at every turn. What we now have is a giveaway to insurers and PHARMA and almost nothing for the people. Don't blame Rahm. Obama picked him because he is an arroagant bulldog and whatever he is doing has the seal of approval from Obama. Last nights capitulation to Lieberman will be marked as the moment the voters turned their backs on this President and the Democratic Majority. Obama will be a one term President, Reid won't be re-elected and the DEMs will loose a lot of seats. We gave them an opportunity and they proved themselves unworthy. The GOP is worse, but without an energized electorate, the DEMs won't be able to hold on. After last night, Democratic voter turnout will be tepid at best.”
