“Infiltrator? Are you imagining some kind of modern Manchurian Candidate scenario where Vietnam gets its final revenge on the US by having their boy McCain nominate Sarah Palin and thus bring about the total destruction of the US? Wow. Just wow. Paranoia strikes deep, into your heart it will creep. ;-)
But of course, as an original screenplay, the scenario has its humorous facets. I've even got some titles for sequels. The Manchurian Moose Hunter. The Sleeper who Slept through the 20th Century. Whose Sarah Now? The Candidate Who Came in From the Cold, To Haiphong with Love, the possibilities are endless. ;-)”

“That's a great question and supported by your examples. Right on point with what a U.S Corporation is, but may I add that the residuals are also those CEO's whose average life span is approx. 3 years and only goal is to magnify profits at all costs but, not to enrich it's social responsibilities.
R&D and Innovation should be the investment to create 'REAL" U.S. Corporations or multiple "Made in America" Mid/small businesses. I mean support the birth of them to maturity ...with a concentration on Diversity and Women Owned Businesses "really" invest in them to the point of permeating the GOB clubs.
Drastically, reduce, subsidies to these so called U.S.-welfare recipients masquerading as U.S. Corporations TBTF. Create profitable incentives for those newer, innovative businesses that may even mirror those who partake in outsourcing greater than 40% of their business services or production thus, squeezing them out over time as knockoff's. Or, force them to create bridges with Local small businesses plus incentive the small businesses with partical subsidiesthat these Corporations already receive. Force them to become successful mentors as a criterion for government welfare.
Let them lobby and squeal for tax breaks while providing proof of their KEEP and truth of their social responsibilities to local consumers.
This is not to be consider a nut in the nut shell ... just my 2 cents.”

“Funny how the so called "Welfare Queens" were replaced with Big... too Big to touch "Welfare Corporations". And, how disgusting is the notion that are requesting bonuses and that their supposed bonuses are in fact earned, from f'ing gambling...by the "Certified" nod (for mega $$$$$$$)given them from Rating Agencies to sell this over leveraged junk. Then cry that "mark to market" was one of the major problems in valuing mortgages among other things. GRRRRRRRRR!

And, I take acception to the very theatrics of those "r"eligious folks. They really need to do more walking the talk, than the other way around. This case is more of the faint intellect of the defeated partisan Rejects.”

“Ms. Schanes; you obviously are passionate about this global social issues.
My personal bout (a desperate escape with only the clothes I wore) has so enlightened me to these and other critical issues that many Americans have been forced to know - one way or another. You get a really different understanding when it's you being a pay check away (or otherwise) from homelessness and facing this challenge for the first time - ever. It's a feeling that should never be welcomed.
It's awful.
I am not where I'd like to be, but I'm trying very hard and maintaining faith that better days are ahead.
For the more progressed individuals and families (chronic or otherwise) I appreciate knowing that there are programs and people like you who really do care. Thanks!
Sorry, for the personal exposure.”

“Hi, DASChicago,
Thank you for your comment.
Thank you for sharing part of your story. I'm sorry that life has been a challenge for you and so many of us. There is an expression that I find helpful, "God never gives us more than we can handle." I tend to think that challenges, although unwelcome, can open our hearts and minds. That's a good thing.
Thank you also for your compliments.
May I ask, are you in Chicago? Can you tell me/us something about homelessness there?
Please keep in touch,
Christine”
