You want to appear open minded, but you set yourself up to defend a for profit insurance industry that will gladly turn you and your loved ones out for shareholder profits. You will then be free to mumble any "facts' and free market mythologies you want. You will be sick, broken and bankrupt. But your ideology will be intact. But that would require you to look the other way and take on the rich and powerful, when it is so much easier to pick on the weak and powerless.”

It was the most propagandistic experience I’ve had since reading the end of the Jungle where the protagonist is saved by his entry into the socialist party.”

It ends when idiots like you realize that your compromised pay pales in comparison to having no job, having your house foreclosed on, paying off a credit card at 30 percent, trying to decide whether to go without food or heating. Compromising your healthcare because your insurance company is more interested in paying off shareholders (that would be you) then it is in saving your life. Raise taxes on the richest 5 percent. Cut military spending. End the wars. Anything less at this point is delusional.

Come on, rightwingers, get on board with us on this. You know you want the bankers punished. The best way is to hit them hard in the pocketbook. A parade of republican corruption from bribery to sex with anything that moves
A rightwing media with no regard for the truth or reality
A batch of angry, mostly ignorant white people withcollective historical amnesia and a propensity to believe thier own BS.
Corporations that run our government through a system of bipartisan bribery
A compromised evnironment that may or may not support future humanity.
And republicans see the largest threat to America as a scattered collection of nonprofits and community organizations, run, not by corporations, but by regular people who, despite their mistakes are trying to enfrachise our poorest citizens. Until republicans are willing to address their own culpability for our problems and acknowledge that they've done a lousy job of reaching out to minorities, they really have nothing to say to the rest of us but "sorry".”

She ran out in the middle of her term to either pursue money and fame or a larger political career. Was it too much to ask her to finish her one term as Alaska governer?”

You will then accuse the government of not doing enough to keep industry from picking your pocket. But you will again whine about your taxes. You are free to change the country or even move to one you think is run better. But you can't act like you have no power or culpability in any of this.”
