“to many people these days dont consider the future when they make purchase. When the lender says your eligible to borrow 300 grand for a house, thats not saying you have to. think about what you might be able to afford if things go wrong, and try living like that.
and also, you dont need that 28+ grand car just so others can admire it. You need transportation first, then , if you really can afford it, go for the glitz.
I know to many people who work their butts off to barely make a mortgage on a house that they dont need, just because its in a neighborhood that makes them appear to be rich. Then they make 50 grand a year and try paying off a 500k house and 2-$40k cars. Thats not including the biggest flat screen and fastest computer they could put on their credit cards, or the $400 do it all cell phone with the $120 a month contracts, the highest speed internet and every channel cable or satellite offers. Not that they could ever watch all 500 channels in normal or HD, or listen to the 300 music stations on XMS, or even understand the foreign language channel. but for the feeling they get when they can puff their chest and brag about it to their friends. Look what I have!!”

“hate to say it,but if you do get behind on your bills, you have to expect that. that is why you are suppose to pay your bills. Or try not to incur any. If you can't , you can at least call and try to negotiate. but you have to be pro active about it. You cant wait until your 3 months late and then demand they give you a break. Its best to call before you get behind at all. Like when you first realize your not going to have enough to make the next payment. That's the best time to pick up the phone. Yes, they are rude and mean, but you borrowed from a rude and mean lender, or what is known as a legal loan shark. You have to accept that they will be rude and mean towards you. They dont care about you if you miss a lot of payments. They usually try to do something to help you make your payments for a while so they can get their part of the last drop of blood out of you.”
