“Beyonce, Lindsay Lohan and J.Lo are all mediocre at what they do but have great pr behind them, at least Beyonce does. They all have career ADD. I have no idea if this movie was Oscar worthy because I had absolutely no desire to see J.Lo and her husband Skeletor. Besides, JLo disappeared from the entertainment scene for so long that she has become somewhat irrelevant, her new song about expensive shoes just proves it.”

Have you watched any of those evangelicals on tv? They speak a whole other language. Maybe we should treat them they same way they treat immigrants since they don't speak regular English and have a culture of their own.”

“I just picture the Republicans as those kids in school that everyone hated because they were just so annoying. They were the kind that pokes their finger in your face continuously while saying, "I'm not touching you". They were the know it all that knew nothing. The kid that never got invited anywhere and who's mother told them that they would show everyone when they were old and famous. Well now they are old and famous but they still have no social skills and no idea of acceptable behavior and people still don't like them.”

“They are just as bad. My brother worked for a small family business that makes Wedding photo albums here in Chicago. Target approached them to design and put out a line. During the talks Target abandoned the small company but took their designs and went and made cheap versions of the albums in China. They are selling now in Target stores. Meanwhile, this small family owned business that employs union members in the factory, is struggling to stay afloat. They put out money with the understanding that they would be manufacturing this line of albums and then the giant corporation Target screwed them. Target didn't pay for the designs either. They just took them. It seems that even if you try to make a more principaled choice as where to shop you just learn down the line that there is something immoral about it. That's business nowadays. Its about how much can you screw over the workers and vendors in order to grow a CEO's portfolio. There is no pride in hard work and having a company that is good to its employees.”
